How I came to Ayurveda

From a very young age, I have felt a deep love for nature and its inhabitants and a vital need to be close to it.

From a very young age, I have felt a deep love for nature and its inhabitants and a vital need to be close to it.

My delicate health at the time led my family, on medical advice and thanks to my parents, to be in constant contact with nature on weekends and holidays throughout my childhood and adolescence.

I was lucky to have a mother who was a pioneer in healthy living. She taught us and familiarized us with a healthy lifestyle from a young age (she bought her first organic vegetables in the 80s!) and took us to a homeopath and naturopathic doctor for healing.

My father, also a man ahead of his time, combined his work with his passion for personal growth and worked as a Dale Carnegie instructor in his free time, which also inspired me on my own path.

As an adult, living and working in the city, I continued to make those escapes to nature until I decided to leave everything behind, spend a year in an even greener and wilder place (Australia), and return with the firm conviction of settling permanently in the countryside, surrounded by nature, in my homeland, in 2001.

And from this place, I began my new life project, completely aligned with myself.

Recovering a health I had lost due to a lack of connection with nature, through a much quieter life that simultaneously demanded my energy and strength to face all the challenges with which nature constantly tested my desire to remain here on the farm. The vegetable garden, the bees, total energy self-sufficiency, the animals, the fruit trees, etc.

From a very young age I studied medicinal plants, organic agriculture and beekeeping, naturopathy, dowsing and geobiology, feng shui, NLP, anthroposophy,… applying all that knowledge to my life until it was the turn of Ayurveda, the ancient and at the same time current Indian medicine, which I came to because of that lack of health. Fascinated by the incredible changes in my health and well-being, I decided to train as an Ayurvedic therapist in 2005, and since then I have been helping people regain their health and reconnect with their own nature.

To complement this focus on others and also address my own needs, I trained as a yoga teacher and a holistic kinesiologist, which allows me to approach imbalances in a completely comprehensive and unique way.

Healthy and joyful eating and cooking are also part of that care and another of my passions.

Although being a mother to a little gem, whom I gave birth to at home and raised in the most respectful and healthy way possible, has been one of the most powerful and complete life lessons I’ve ever experienced!

I feel deeply grateful to be where I am and to dedicate myself to what I do, taking care of myself and those who choose to do so.

I hope I can accompany you too!
