What is Rural Ayurveda?

“Knowledge of life” or “the art of living” is the translation that best defines its great potential; that is, living in harmony with ourselves and our environment.

Ayurveda is considered the oldest existing medicine, along with Traditional Chinese Medicine, with over 5,000 years of history.

The purpose of Ayurveda is to prevent, treat, and cure imbalances, as well as promote good health on the physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual levels.

Based on the principle of the Panchamahabhutas, the five elements that make up the universe (macrocosm) and us (microcosm): ether, air, fire, water, and earth, manifest in turn as the three energies Vata, Pitta, and Kapha, which determine our constitution (prakruti).

Located on an ecologically preserved estate since 1994 and a pioneer in self-sufficiency with solar energy, its own water supply, a bio-purification system, a vegetable garden, fruit trees, and bees.
